Confirmation is ****. If you're sending anything you can't afford to lose use INSURANCE.
If you pay for confirmation and it gets lost or destroyed your SOL, if you spend the extra 90 cents for insurance if it's lost or damaged they send you a check. If someone claims they never got an item that's insured and claims against the insurance the postal inspectors wouldn't take too kindly to that.
INSURE EVERY TIME packages actually do get lost and broken (I lose about 1 in 100 and I suspect half of them are legit half are people just scamming.
Unless you want to just stiff ebay/paypal you're **** outta luck.

ALWAY GET CONFIRMATION! Even if he gets the amp, with no proof the products were ever shipped, he will win. Every time

sorry to thread jack, but is kinda the same topic as you pioneer. i sold that DC level 4. the buyer recieves it yesterday and tells me the coil is discolored and wants his money back and me to cover shipping both ways, or money for a recone. i know for a fact the sub was good when i sold it, and i cant afford either option. so he filed a claim, does he have any chance of winning?

If the ad did not claim 'nib', he has no leg to stand on morally. Legally however, I dont know, as the laws and rights get screwy depending on the payment method used.
Coils get 'discolored' simply by using them, even when used well within reasonable specs.
With USPS, should have spent the extra 1 for DC, lesson learned....happened to me years ago with paypal, lost the item and money, same type of situation.
Was my fault, but fought with PP for weeks and it didnt matter. All it was in the end was a dam buck or so.....
I get DC on everything and insurance, just in case....ish happens man.....good luck, but more than likely you are SOL...
