To be honest, that motor is very mild to some people that we race with throughout the season. Drag boat racing is growing quickly. There are TOP FUEL boats that i have seen cover the 1/4 mile in under 5 seconds @ 250+ mph. This motor was built for bracket racing, the heads are outdated but why put money into it when its turn key and runs 9.0's et all day. If we were to get some new heads ex. Profilier heads, we with out a doubt would be making 1200+ on gas. But thats the limit of the boat before it gets silly and might do stupid things and hurt my dad or myself.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/word.gif.64b12e39f936af3b4fff38a1c0bd0244.gif
heres a direct link to some fast boats / crashes. one top fuel boat has so much power off the line that it simple flips over. These boats have fighter cockpits that break away with oxygen in the event of a crash.

its the off season and we already stripped the boat, and plan on doing some work to the jet pump and bottom of the boat.
