I have this Jensen mono amp. It's a JPA1300M. It puts out 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 400 at 2 ohms, but in it's book it has a 3rd value that is listed as Dynamic power and it says 650 watts RMS at 2 ohms.

So what is dynamic power?

max output for a short signal burst.

ie. peak value of a sin wave

ie. infinitesimally short burst to get a large number

basically total BS that manufacturers put on the box to sell amps to dumb people.

max power means nothing!
