Adam Trifonoff and Steve Mick are currently in first place in the two man team competition with 278 team points. Two man teams were formed at the beginning of the season. Each team member acquires individual points towards team points. Adam, the 2007 Bass Race World champion in the 129 class, with 8 first places SPLMAX CUP finishes has earned 139 SPLMAX CUP points and Steve, 2007 Bass Race World champion in the 149 class, with 5 first place SPLMAX CUP finishes has earned SPLMAX CUP 139 points.
Adam and Steve have named their two man team - Team Prodigy. There current 1st place standing has not come easy. Steve and Adam each have traveled over 2900 miles (round trip) this season, competing at 9 SPLMAX CUP events in 5 different states. The competition has been intense. Region 5 has averaged close to 30 competitors per event. Adam has competed in the 129 class using his Hyundai 2 door coupe. Steve has competed in the 139, 149 ad 159 class with his Astro van.
