dynamating entire trunk effect sound?

if i completely dynamated my whole trunk, would it not be as loud in the car because all the sound waves are getting absorbed or somthing? or would it force all the sound waves into the car with latch down?

Too tired to be clear. Sound deadener reduces vibrations and blocks sound. If you put it on parts of the car through which sound is currently passing between your trunk and your passenger compartment, it will reduce the amount of sound getting through.
