Had nothing to do today so i applied dynamat around my front door speakers.

I can hear a difference but its not huge, i only did like 3 inchs around the speakers to get rid of rattle and what not.

should i do the rear deck?

And is there anything out there thats better or maybe cheaper then dynamat?

and finally when i get a sub what areas of the trunk will i have to apply this stuff to?

pardon any spelling errors or signs of extreme n00bness //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

dynamat goes inside both door panels (or every panel that has a driver in it) You can put it in your roof and under the carpet, you can use more than one layer, you can line ytour trunk with it, ive seen people line their inner firewalls with it. You can use it anywhere man

you have to do the inside of your door panel and cover up any holes on the door (except those to fit the clips in), then you will notice a huge difference.

Raamat would be cheaper than dynamat and just as good. http://www.raamaudio.com

Shellfish, you can spend hours on here reading old threads about how to properly sound deaden your vehicle, what proucts to use etc. You will learn a lot more that way than just reading the replies you get to one inquiry.
