Dynamat under down firing sub?

Should I apply a layer of dynamat under a down firing sub? There is no carpet under the sub.

You mean your sub is firing down toward the ground? I wanna see your set-up. But either way, I would definitely throw some dynamat on the general area that your firing the sub toward, especially if its the only bit of deadening you plan on doing. If you have a little extra cash, get some dynamat xtreme. More expensive but I've heard its a much better product and much easier to work with.
