Dynamat or Raammat and how much do you think I need?

How many sq.ft. do you think I will need to fully deaden my 1999 nissan maxima trunk? Not really sure how much to buy or which brand to go with. I can get the bulk pack of dynamat extreme for $115 shipped with 36sqft or the raammat for $120 plus shipping for 62.5sq.ft. Which is a better deal and one really that much better then the other?

Overall, the raammat will be a better value. They perform about the same, though I prefer the dynamat extreme more.

You can't go wrong with either, but with the raammat, it's more cost effective.

of the two i would choose raammat because of how it performs and the it is very easy to use. dynamat extreme is probably a better product but for 36 square feet for ~120 or compared to 60 square feet for ~130, raammat would be the better value. the problem with dynamat extreme is that when cutting the deadener you will probably received a number of cuts when you get the deadener the edges are really sharp. i've used both and prefer raammat because it is very easy to use.

Go with the Raammat. The minor increase in performance Dynamat Extreme might have is not worth paying twice the price for, in my opinion. Raammat is an excellent deadener at an excellent price, and is probably the best value deadener on the market. Plus Rick is a great guy to deal with.
