DXi350 Hurt My Ears

Hey there,

My speakers (front dash - Polk DXi350) sound great on most frequency ranges. But it seems that there is one range (right below the super high highs and above the mid range), that things just go awry. Like listen to "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by the Beatles and that organ in the background KILLS my ears... even at low volumes!

What could possibly be the problem?!

Btw, my car is a 1999 Saab 9-5 with the Harmon Kardon amps and such

Try flipping the polarity on the tweeters to tame them.

elancohen92 - Oh, I have been! And it's awesome, but this sound is right below where the treble EQ can hit.

whitedragon551 - I'll definitely give that a try. You mean the main speaker connection? I thought that would kill everything with distortion.
