of course it's the whole thing. either you are going to burn that to disc, watch it once and delete it, or convert it to a smaller file and keep it on the pc and burn it. i think you missed the point of what i posted. read it again.

90accordman. you have a good size hard drive. 250+. you are either storing them for quick burns to sell or don't know how to compress to.avi or .mpg. 50 should be about 40 gigs compressed.

i have it burnt onto a disc, and if i was only gonna watch it once, i wouldnt have went through the trouble to put in on my HD in teh first place..

it's not an argument, but it makes no sense to store movies in dvd format for personal use, unless watching the movie isn't the sole motivation.
