DVD recorders that play great music

What are the best ones out there?

For me, "best" means that while it records well (as I imagine all of these units do), it also plays audio CDs very well. "Very well" = like the best value-oriented audiophile CD players do.

I guess what I am getting at is that I am willing to pay $700-$800 for a DVD recorder, or maybe a tad more, if I know I am buying a unit that will serve two purposes (as opposed to buying a $300-400 DVD recorder and a $400-$500 CD player.

Thoughts, anyone?
