DVC Wired Out-of-Phase?

It's like they reversed the polarity on one of the voice coils. Does this ever happen?

Yes it can happen. I had a pair of 8's and one of them the polarity was reversed. Couldn't figure out why the subs were moving like crazy but no bass. Emailed Mike and told me more than likely it's reversed.....but turned out to be a manufacture defect. Subs were still good, just labeled wrong.

Gents,
The speaker terminals had their color colored stickers reversed. I pulled them off and put them on correctly.

Never heard of counter wound coils?
Im not the one selling my ****. I have a good job..
And there's no reason you have to learn to coil any specific way.
