dust cap

i recieved my 18 by dhl but it didnot have a dust cap on it. i wont be getting the cap for another week or so can i play the sub without one until then or will it harm it

did the dustcap just fall off or was there not one in the box with it? if you can find one for now you can just glue it on but if not i would wait till the new one comes in.
