key is loud and raucous noise. if you get a ticket argue that music is not noise.

hmm. i got in trouble in durango colorado back in 1994 for wearing a jacket with a hand giving the bird. surprised they weren't the first to implement such a law. ironic, since the ski resort just to the north is named "purgatory".

that surprises me, Durango is like small town, they shouldn't care about a loud stereo! Up here in Denver where it is more populated I think it would be much more of an issue.

Thats probably part of the problem, they are small town so have nothing better to do in their boring lives that the cops look at a loud stereo as a Felony. Your probably lucky they didn't have the SWAT team on you LOL

in hindsight, i can see why they looked at us as "undesirables", but they were pretty harsh. i doubt they have a swat team. maybe a bunch of local folk with deer rifles.

let me rephrase.....any moron should turn your stereo down at night while driving through residential areas....just common sense really.

i was just trying to see if someone (not necessarily you, but it worked lol) would try to call me out on it after i always say i dont bump at night or in residential places

unless an ambulance or fire truck is behind you on a single lane highway. in that case, i turn it up full blast , drive 25 and swerve to make sure that loud bastard behind me can't pass. saving lives......pfft, what a sorry excuse to be loud.
