dumb wiring question

If it yes a KX1200.1 then yes, they are 1ohm stable. If it is a ZX, yes, people run their ZX's on 1ohm daily. Wire the subs in parallel to get a 1ohm load.

I will have to disagree. I've seen many a report that the newer ZX-series amps aren't 1 Ohm stable and strongly disagree with those owners that have tried it.

As far as wiring the subs to a 1 Ohm load ~ you wouldn't likely damage the subs but rather the amp if the nominal final load is too low for the application. Here's the diagram for wiring two DVC 4 Ohm drivers to a 1 Ohm load if you need it, though.

thanks guys its the KX1200.1 i believe i looked at RF.com for those wiring diagrams but somehow i missed the 1ohm load thanks alot for the help

would this amp be to big to push my 2 12's in a 3.75cu box @ 34 ?

maybe just keep my gains all the way down?
