I just wanted to let anyone know that did donate or was helped or cared in anyway that our fundraising efforts were pretty successful for our first year doing this. We were able to raise $6,000 for the Childrens Hospital. Pretty good I think for our first attempts at this type thing. Next year we will be able to do a lot more and have a lot of Soldiers that will be taking this and helping out at more bases. In the end we were able to raffle off a PS3, 2 Sundown subs, 3 Fender Electric guitars, 1 Ibanez electric guitar and 2 Fender acoustic guitars. Thank you to Jacob at Sundown for donating the subs to help raise money. I will be doing this again next year. Looking to start again shortly after I return to the states in a month so we can have more time to raise money. I have included a picture of Ethan Blevins below. Unfortunately he passed away 2 weeks after our final event. Brings to realization why money and research is so important. Sad to see a kid gone so young. Couldn't imagine if it was one of mine.
