Dude fuxored my amp. pls help

I let a freind borrow my st 1000d which is my baby, and hes like here you can have it back. It seemed suspicious, and i hooked it up, and it caught on fire. ITs acting like its hooked up backwards, but its not. What causes this?????

shit...why do u care what it is, just send it to the shop and give him the bill...sounds to me put the plus on the minus pole and vice versa

yep, i did that once tryin to hook my shit up at night. done it right tons of times. it only takes once to cook it.

call the manufacture and see if they can fix it. the are a few places that can do it too. theres a list on here some where. this is what i call the "itis". my buddy unhooked his amp to see if his friends worked. it did. hooked his back up and killed it. so i try his amp in my car (to see if it's the amp or sub thats bad) and it's the amp. hook mine back up and then it also died. stay away from practices such as these.

Did that once at night with a Sundown 1500...amp works fine still...God bless fuses!
