dual or single 4 ohms

i am going to be running 2 Soundsplinter RL-i8's on a U.S. Amps XT-1600.2. The amp runs 400w x 2 @ 2 ohms and 200w x 2 @ 4 ohms so would it be better for me to get them in a single or dual 4 ohm setup. The subs are 200rms-500peak. I could run them with right at 200w a piece with single and bout 400w a piece a dual 4 ohms.
