dual ohm subs wiring

i have 1 dual 4 ohm sub and a kenwood 7202 amp. i want to bridge the amp to push 460 watts to the sub but since it a dual 4 ohm i cannot. could i connect the speaker wires to only 2 of the 4 push terminals? or must i occupy all four.

dual 4 ohm only does 2 and 8 ohm

dual 2 ohm dos 1 and 4 ohm

i need 4 ohms on a dual 4 ohm sub?

can't run a dvc 4 ohm sub @ 4 ohms.

You'll either have to under power the sub, risk amp damage by running it too low, or purchase a new amp.

you need to use both coils to get the best out of your sub. like^^^ he said buy another sub either single 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm

run each coil to it's own channel...each will be getting 150w rms at 4ohm
