Rockford 501s 2 channel with dual gain controls...Im running bridged and it says in the manual to set them both equally...how the hell do I do this? I know how to do it with a dmm and such but thats with a single gain control......

impatient bump lol......startin to rain a lil I wanna get this done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Ill try it.....I just dont want one channel clipping and one not....

@nickatina-no its one 2 channel amp with separate gain controls for each channel.

Getting voltage but when I get close to my target voltage it seems the speakers are being a bit over driven. So I set it at 36v and am using the remote bass knob to give it a little extra here and there.

The gains are driven by a low power source input, so by using your bass knob, that could be causing the overdrive as it will take no more than a mm of gain to notice an audible difference when you increase the sensitivity from low input to a much higher input, which is what your bass knob is doing. I recommend not using that at all. If you use multiple gains on a single output, all but one can be down to get the same output for your voltage match. Using more than one gain will cause a huge increase in sensitivity and can cause inaudible clipping even when the gains are only used a bit. Recommend using only one gain for impedance and voltage matching and letting any other active gains set at minimum for a "passive" approach.
