Dual factory alternator setup? Subaru Outback 2002

Buddy of mine has a Subaru Outback 2002 - he wants to add a second factory alternator. Although I suggested shelling out for a HO alt, he already has an extra factory alt, and a place that will make the bracket for it cheap.

Question is, how does one wire them? I assume grounding is common of course, what what about 14v+ line? In parallel with the other alt?

And most importantly what about the regulator control connector?
