Dual Battery question.....

When my box gets made, I'm going ot be running two 12's @ 0.5ohm on my 1500D. I've searched on the forum but haven't found an answer to this. @ 0.5ohm the 1500D CAN pull 190 according to Jacob. I have a 140 amp alt, which I don't plan on upgrading. I don't dim with my current setup BTW. So would it be better to replace my wet cell a yellow top, or replace my wet cell and add another battery in my trunk?

If your electrical can't support your amps and you are draining your batteries, of course you're going to want a deep cycle battery. More is always better. Also, upgrading your alt and doing the big 3 will help things out.

At .5 ohms you will need a GOOD electrical.

Since youve already gotten an alt and done the big 3 you are ahead of the game.

Me personally, I'd stick a couple good batteries in there. Better electrical is never overkill. A couple kinetiks'll do u just fine, or stick a YT and whatever u had planned in there, but I prefer kinetiks...

I want to say youd be fine with just 1 but it's hard to tell ahead of time. And when you start dropping impedance that low, you wanna make sure you keep your voltage high high.

ive always wanted to try out one of those sundowns.
