Ya... You should also do one inbetween the 2 alts cuz if you didn't your stock location one will barely spin.. Your gonna need a belt about 20in bigger..

Hell mine calls for one 24in bigger.

I don't think I get wut ur describing how you will route your belt tho..

I would route it the way its supposed then instead of goin to your stock location alt, go to your 2nd alt, then under and idler pulley inbetween them and back up around the stock location alt.

how the belt looks in the pic but instead of going across like it is now, it turns back on the idler and hits the secnod alt

http://www.kilbyenterprises.com/pulleys.htm this could solve your problem alternator serpentine pulley with v belt pulley attached to the end. But im sure he has thought of something already.
