Do you have the A/C? If so, do you want to keep the A/C? I believe there was a thread on this not too long ago, try searching for it. If not you'll need to fabricate a new bracket, regardless of position.

yes i have the a/c and i'd like to keep it lol but i have the EGR valve so its kinda hard to find room

Could you get a picture of your engine compartment? You may be able to make a single bracket that holds both your alts, slightly relocating the stock alt. Depends on how much room you have.
