Dual 6 ohm subs into a 4/2 ohm load

subs are audiobahn alum12q dual 6ohms, and the amp is MTX 1501d, I think it works on 2 or 4 ohms.

2 subs can be wired to either 24 ohm (s/s), 6 ohm(s/p), or 1.5 ohm(p/p).

wire them up 1.5 and see what happens then. Dual 6 speakers are meant to be used in sets of 3 thus giving you a 1 ohm load.

my alum 12's were wired up at 1.5 on a 2 ohm stable amp, it took it like a champ for 2 years, then i upgraded.
