OMFG DSL is pissing the **** out of me. I cant stand that shit. Its ****in slow sometimes and I can never ****ing upload my pictures with any ****in website. I tried hella different network settings and its all bullshit. Cable was so much better than DSL

Do u guys know how pissed off it gets me, when im waiting forever for a ****in page to load then after like 4 mins a little window will just pop up and say Document Contains No Data. WTF kinda of bullshit is that? GAWD......

Hate to hear you're having issues (or more like whole subscriptions from the sounds of it!) with your DSL.

I have it through the phone company here and I like mine just fine. Measured d/l as well as u/l speeds compared to Road Runner cable show them to be fairly even here...

I'm quite happy with my DSL....had cable for a few years and I haven't noticed any difference in speed. Then again I have the "ultra" package and I'm guaranteed 1.5Mbps down stream

Haha. What are you talking about mang? My DSL works just fine.. usually download around 200-300kbps..

DSL is all based on distance.. so you must be pretty far away from the place your getting your service from.

As for your browser taking 4 mins to load a page that says no data... that basically means that you went to nothing. Either you got the URL wrong or the server is down.

Also, try searchin' your computer for viruses, spyware, and adware.

See if you can get time warner in your area. We get cable internet, cable tv, and digital phone for about $110 a month........

Yeah, everyone says Norton sucks.. but really it is a great anti virus tool..it's just soo mainstream that most of the viruses made are made to not be found by Norton. =x

Norton is bad altogether For virus protection, try something like NOD32. I feel you on the DSL thing though. I could never make the switch to DSL from cable. Cable is just so much faster around here and just... less trouble.

However, I would say give your pc a thorough cleansing first before blaming everything on the DSL. Trust me... my parents pc runs through stuff really slow (Athlon 1.3 GHz) and my pc just blazes through the net (Athlon XP 2100+). I also maintain mine much better than they do their's.
