**** Dsl

Both DSL and cable have their advantages and disadvantages. But IMO if you want a rock solid connection that always does its rated speed, nothing beats business grade dsl. Of course for premium service with a SLA, you're going to pay a premium price.
If your having trouble though, check out http://www.dslreports.com All sorts of information and help on the forums, even have forums for individual cable and dsl providers.

i have the business dsl with sbc and it is fast dude,my dsl works fine no problems with me:p:

I been using DSL for the 2 or 3 years now and never had a single problem with it. Then, about 2 months ago, I got cable cause apparently they say it was faster then DSL. I had it for a week and i'll never get cable again. Always at night, my cable would be slower then dial-up and I mean slow. Thats pretty much the only time when I get on the computer cause i'm working during the day and when i'm not, i'm usally on the computer for the whole day. And for anti-viruses, i'll never use Norton again cause I could never have it running when I was on the internet. So now I use PC-Cillin and i'll never which it. It's been working for me very well. Picks up all the viruses on my computer.
