DSL modem question ** need help quick **

manual reading sucks, but U will get thru it. I did once, waaaaaay back. So whats the modem doing agan??

1. find out the ip address and the type of interface (http/telnet/etc.)
2. just read the **** manual...you probably just need to set up the modem & enter in your account details for your ISP (username & pass)...PPPoE session parameters

i think qwest is raDSL and pppoa and centurtytel is aDSL pppoe... i dont think the modemhe bought will work.

Had a buddy come figure it out for me.. He said he had to make my router a single gateway for just wireless internet.. Took him m about and hour to do what i messed up then set up everything else..

oh so you wernt trying to use the new modema as modem? Just wanted the wireless router function?
