$10K once its said and done here...then another $1k per year for 3 years.
when i got mine 6 years ago i spent about $5700 in 6 months.
Mine cost around 6 or 7 grand in lawyer fee's to get it dropped to a reckless driving offense, which still raised my insurance considerably for years.

They aren't cheap. 10grand > cost of a cab

only good when offroading and you can only hurt yourself at below 40 MPH.

but the guy i quoted knows whats up. drunk offroading is awesome. we go have bon fires and offroad all the time. only totaled one trunk, and it was the DD that totaled it (listened to a drunk (myself) for directions) he wanted to pass the trunk infront of us when we were leaving the trail, but both sides of the trial are ditches like 4 feet deep, well there is a spot you can go off the trail where theres no ditch, you gotta get some speed because its a little soft and he had 2wd. then theres a wide open field you can **** around in. well i picked the wrong spot to tell him to get speed and go off into the field (ditch was grown over).

trying to jump a ditch at like 15-20mph, with 5 people packed into a ford ranger... bad idea. i didnt hit the windsheild because my girlfriend was on my lap. but i spilt my beer

or you have to sale your caraudio to pay for the dui fine.in my town it's like $2000 in fines;)FTW:crap:
Plus court costs, losing your license, have to find a ride wherever you go including work, attorney fees, and your insurance rates go through the roof. You can also kill someone else on the road.

But if you get pulled over you are still screwed. I wouldn't risk it.
Exactly.

I had had one drink and then drove, got pulled over for a stupid *** reason, and blew a .02. I was 18 and the zero tolerance law makes the limit for under 21 right at .02. So i then got arrest and charged with an underage DUI, not as bad as a DUI, it will drop off my record when I turn 21, and I've taken care of everything I had to take care of.

Point is .02 really doesn't have any adverse effects on you, I mean the limit is 4 times higher if you are over 21, but I just had a run of bad luck and still ended up getting busted. Lesson learned tho, I won't sit in the driver seat if I even have a sip of alcohol.

But go ahead and think that I'm just some retard idiot and that this could never happen to you.

I don't drive drunk, I drive tipsy...big difference IMO. I'm rarely so drunk that I can't even walk straight, but if I am I just wait until I sober up to the point where I can function normally, but still feel a little intoxicated at the same time. I've also driven stoned before and I think I drive as well, if not better when I'm stoned.

you're dumb. driving buzzed IS driving drunk.

i'd rather drive drunk than high. there are just some things i can't do while high, and driving is one of them (and pretty much anything else). its not that i am reckless and swerve a lot, im just so **** uncomfortable, it feels like im speeding going 20mph. while drunk i focus so much more on driving and not getting pulled over that i do a pretty good job. its not like im piss drunk when i drive anyways, usually a 6 pack or less in me. if i drink more than that i wait or just stay the night.

I agree. I kind of came off like I condone drunk driving or something. I don't.

Your an idiot!! Will it still be FTW when you kill someone with your car?
according to the law, it is ok for smokers to endager innocent lives everyday, but not ok for drinkers to endager lives by drinking and driving once in a while?

no fair
