drop a headliner from a explorer?

Hey guy's got a question. i want to en the top of the inside of my roof the ride it's on is a 93 ford explorer. has anyone ever droppped a headliner from one of these? would appericate the help.

Anyone id really rather do this myself plus don't have the cash to pay a shop to do it. so i figured you guy's could help me someone out there.

the headliner in my 93 was just held on with clips. pull it off

oh alright thx gumby . what about as far as the visors go and around the sunroof i have the turn knob style kind.

I looked up at the headliner today i saw the clips you guy's were talking about i get that part easily now. but what do i do to taking off the visors do i avoid deadning up that far? also what about sunroof ? please help me thanks in advance

show me pic of the sunroof and i can tell you for sure

the visors should be held on with screws around the swivel mounts unscrew those and they should fall down usually there is a rubberish seal around the sunroof that you much remove to get the head liner down and if there is a panel up there look under any light covers or comparments for screws to remove and ppull the headliner down

dude there should be screws holdng the visers in place with plastic covers over the mounting points (thats where the screws are) if you pop the covers then you can get to the screws and then pop of the visers and do the rest of the clips and deadening

alright thanks man . worlddre can't take pics right now it's freezing out and night here. but your right there is like a rubber gasket around where the sunroof is.

not too sure if it'll help.. but i have an 07 explorer, and assuming they use the same idea.. the domelights just pop out, there was like a little slot you could stick a flathead screwdriver in and they drop down then just disconnect. visors just unscrew as stated above, and if you have the little garment hook things, like where you hang hangers for clothes, on mine you pop off this little cap and insert a screwdriver and twist it, which stretches out the clip and it pulls right off. Im not sure how much they've changed over the years thought.. nor do i have a sunroof. Hope that helps a little..
