Driving+No radio=Death

OK, I bought my car from a younger guy whose dad just passed away. His dad disabled the radio because he thought his kid wasn't a good enough driver to have a radio. So, when I bought the car, it doesn't have a radio. The radio is not getting any power.

I have:

-checked the radio fuse

-looked for any unplugged wires but not found any.

-Antenna is plugged in

In a BMW, all the brains are underneath the backseat, so that should be easier.

lol. Yea good question. His dad gave him his car, which I just bought. Yea, plus its a 300hp BMW lol. The radio is stock and I might can get some pics in a little bit.

I feel you pain. I'm using the speakerphone on my new LG Fusic phone to play MP3s (I'm putting the phone in my shirt collar so I can hear it).

I had temporary brain loss before and forgot to turn the keys on to check if the radio was getting paower. Checked again, and the radio Is getting power, but will not power on. I talked to the previous owner again, and he said his dad removed something from the radio to disable it. Any ideas?

Well, when i turn my lights on, the buttons on the radio light up, but radio does not power on. Tried messing with the power radio to no avail. Is there something in the radio that is fairly easy to remove that will disable my radio?

Theres probably some kind of setting that the dealer may be able to disable it or something.
