Couple of layers of glass, trimmed to fit better:

some thickened fiberglass resin slopped on:

Sanded roughly and test fit in the car:

One coat of cheapass primer (to be sanded a lot more before it's finished, don't worry)

PowerNAudio: I' took your comments to heart, and I'v edecided to **** in the profile a little bit where it hugs the door jamb, so I did a bit of grinding out and cutting this morning:

And here it is with a layer of glass:

And lastly, the VERY dusty and dirty beast, sitting in the driveway. Once I'm done with sanding all this crap, it needs a wash pretty bad:

So I spent most of this weekend on other crap, like building a desk for my gf for back to school:

And building a work bench in my garage:

And sanding and priming my sub enclosure:

But, I did do a bit of filler and sanding on the kick pod, and here it is as it stands:

I still need to do a bit more filler, and some primer, sanding, and paint. Will post pics as the progress continues...

Got the pod painted, and put the speaker in there just to mock it up tonight:

Hopefully this next week or so will see the other side finished up, and the sub box finished and installed.

o yeah, and the stupid grille stick out, so I need to either run without it, or do some more bending on my ebrake.
