What's going on in pic 39, 40, 41 please explain what those are/for...

In this Picture you can see the cable driven spring latches on the sides of the Gaylords tonneau cover. Normally the cables are connected to a key cylindar in the middle, that you turn to release the latches. We shaved the key cylindar, so in order to open the tonneau we replaced the cables with much longer ones that run through a channel we added in to tonneau. The cables run out and under the truck.

These show the custom solenoid enclosure we built under the truck. Opening the tonneau is now done from the alarm remote. It's made out of 3/8" ABS, with safty screws to prevent easy access. We wanted to do all this under the truck so if there was ever a solenoid failure we would have a failsafe way to get the tonneau cover open. The solenoid in the pics was not the one we ended up using. We went to a 50lb vs the 15lb in the pics. The smaller one worked well for mock up and testing until the 50lb showed up.

This is the industrial 100% weatherproof 110v connector housing. It accepts the female end of an extension cord and connects to the Kinetik 80amp power supply. This has 2 puposes, first the truck is not a daily driver so it can be pluged in while it sits in the garage and the battery is maintained. Second this allows us to play the truck for extened periods of time with out having to start the truck or worry about the battery going dead. Also if the battery is dead, you can simply plug the truck in for a few minutes and start it up.

I wanna skeet all over that truck after drinking yellow gaterade as not to mess the color scheme up

In all serious that is some great work. Instead o chrome wheels id like to see some black/yellow wheels but the fiberglass work is amazing and that seems like a show quality daily driver to me

i work at a shop, so just looking at all that work out of a 2 man crew is fantastic, how many days did that take form start to finish?

hi everyone! i just joined up on here after jay told me he posted up the truck so i could say thank you for the nice words. i'm actually the owner of the truck. my name is meredith and i'm jesse's girlfriend. he and jay put in a lot of time on this one. the truck started out as a 2004 dodge ram "rumble bee" and as you can tell, it's changed a lot.

overall, the process took about 8-9 months. the body shop had it for 2 months to do the body and paint work. we spent the rest of that time fabricating, installing and tuning. i have always been into modding my vehicles, but this is the first one that has come full circle... and we are not done yet. most of what is left is just performance. we are hoping to supercharge the truck in the spring time and add a brake kit and some headers. fortunately, we have some sponsorships in the works, which may allow me to grab a new set of wheels at the same time. i know some of you commented you don't care for the wheels, but they were purchased a long time ago and they will eventually be replaced (probably not with a color-matched scheme, though).

anyway, it's nice to be able to share a project like this. if anyone is interested, you can visit the below links for progress threads on how we got to this final point:
