Draining to much power?

I need some help, I just installed 2 12" alpine type-r's along with the alpine 1005 amp and whenever i try to run ac with my stereo on my car "sputters" what should i do to resolve this? I figured the stereo is pulling to much power from the battery.

What do you mean by sputters?

Do the lights dim?

What is the model/year/engine of your car, it sounds like the engine is bogging down in response to the increased load on the alternator.

yes they do the dome light will other lights i dont think they do, its a 98 for taurus with the 3.0l v6

It will lag even if i put my foot all the way to the floor upto about 2500rpm

I don't think that a new alt will cure your sputtering.

I would get the old alt checked to be sure if its Ok and make sure the engine is in good running order before buying a new alternator, the sputtering at full throttle has me a little worried about the health of your engine.

It was fine until i put these in, it ran well then about a day after i installed them it became lethargic at low rpm's in first. i thought it was transmission at first so i had it checked and it is fine.

Mine only does it when the AC is on and the temp gets in the middle of the guage, the shop checked everything and he also stated it was caused by my stereo and the lack of juice from the alto he also suggested a high output alto.
