Um, what kind of Chevy is it?
There is a big difference between a stripper model 6cyl and a modded Diesel...

1500's dont come in diesel (afaik), and if he had a 2500 or 3500 duramax he probably would have mentioned it (not putting you down, just making assumptions)

with that advice why would he want to follow it? "here, let me race you and let me give you the advantage of not having to launch your car because you **** at driving, but also, let me allow you start already in your powerband so you dont have to wait to find it..."
back to the OP, stupid thread, the maxima will win. your truck might seem kinda quick, but its not. i drive a silverado with the 5.3 liter engine, and its not that quick. now put that maxima against a titan, im gonna side with the truck on that one.

Huh? the OP owns the Chevy...so I stated race from a stop, aka DIG because the maxima SUCKS from a dig, whereas a truck has alot more TQ + RWD and can launch better.

ahhh, my misunderstanding. ive never heard anyone call it a "dig". i always just assume races start from a stop unless otherwise noted. i thought you were saying to race him from a rolling start.

No big deal. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif Also, if infact it is an auto, and you want to race from a roll, start at 40 mph and not 50-55. At 40 is roughly when a 5.5 gen maxima changes to 2nd gear, and its a dog until about 53 MPH.
