Your right because that's a horrible sub for 750 watts daily its not going to be efficient he said that himself

The threatcon 2 would be a ok option at that power tho .. I did a local install with a pair and they got pretty loud

I'd still choose many subs before it tho

ive got 4 crossfire bmf 1228 12s. rated at 500 watts, I've got all of them in a terrible box and on250 watts each and they slam

the C2 threatcon 4 is 1200RMS which is too much. The main reason why I am downgrading from 1000-1200RMS per woofer is because this is a new car and thy haven't figured out the aftemarket alternator. Thats why I am choosing to run 600-750RMS per woofer on my stock alternator. Price wise I don;t really have a budget. Like in mny other thread I had W7, Mojo5 which is pretty expensive. So I am open to anything as long as it hits really hard and can hear me from a distance coming.

with an efficient amplifier you can still run 2k amps with an extra battery at the back and occasional car charger.

What do you have now that you are "downgrading" from?

Well I was originally thinking of getting DD3512, Mojo5, and the W7 which were in the range of 1000-1200RMS. So I was ready to starting ordering the batteries and alternator first when mechman told me about this issue.The problem is if I take my stock alternator out and put a aftermarket one some electronics might stop working. By "downgrading" I meant going lower RMS so my stock alternator could handle it. Other electrical will be done like big 3, batteries, etc.

Xfl > threatcon 2 ... I've played with both .. As far as the 4's go ill let you know after I play with some ...

You can't argue the c2 is better because that's far from true
