Downgraded back to firefox 1.5

Ive never used opera, but I dont really like junking up stuff on my computer. I have read alot about the different ones and it seems like opera is a bit more resource heavy than firefox
Stock vs Stock, Opera is more resource heavy than FF is (though not by much) ...
However, if you add the plug-ins to get the same functionality out of FF that you get right out of the box in Opera, Opera is much, much, much less resource intensive ... much less ...

FF > IE for me

1. It loads faster (for me at least)

2. I also run a Debian and Ubuntu box at my house, one is a file server and one is just a PC to mess with. So FF is the obvious choice for me.

3. Plugin system is great, Adblock Plus - need I say more?

4. FF security patch history > IE security patch history. All browsers have exploits, when they are patched and released is what matters to me.

K-Meleon is lightning quick...that's what comes from bare-bones code.

Flock is good if you're do the "networking" type stuff.

If you're bored and want something visual, try Browse3D or SpaceTime.

I spend time on a ton of different browsers, but Opera is my browser of choice for a combination of great stock code utilizing lower resources than equivavlent FF with better speeds and a GUI I prefer.

If there were one downside to Opera, it would be that not every site is well coded for Opera. Think FF issues but worse. I only encounter it rarely though I cover a lot of different sites.
