If you use a crossover then each speaker its hooked too experiences the same ohm load since a crossover sends different frequencies to each speaker and thats all

So If there are two 4 ohm speakers hooked to a passive crossover then the ohm load still remains four, It does not double at all?

Yes you are correct, it stays at 4 ohms

depends on the crossover but usually a 4ohm mid with a tweeter will still present a 4ohm load.

to know for sure, just use your dmm at the speaker wires before and after the crossover.
