Double din touchscreen vs single din.

Curious what differences there are. I will not be running an active set up.

I wouldn't be able to afford anything nice. They just look a nicer in the car a little more stock looking, and having a screen to adjust settings and select songs is very nice.

Currently I have a Sony GTX510 from a long time ago obviously. An upgrade in the future is planned I am just wondering if cheap double din units are even worth while or should I put that 250$ towards a nicer single din unit.
