I really liked the interface of the JVC I had but the screen kept cutting out. Clarion has nice double dins with excellent sound quality. What do you define as sq though? Active capable? High voltage? or?

Pioneer makes good units too, I currently run one. avh 3400bt in my girls car. Interface is decent.

I'm not a big fan of kenwood. Lower end models of kenwood and jvc tend to be very similar. Higher end of both are good though.

i think the pioneer definastely has the best looking headunit on the market and their interface is awesome and snappy and very reliable. just wish they would make a double din with SQ in mind with time alignment and all that good stuff

The Kenwood is by far the best overall but the GUI is a bit weak. I personally swapped to the Clarion NX702 a few months back from a Kenwood DNX9990hd and I love it.

I love the looks of the Pioneer AVH-X4500BT/X5500, but that's just personal preference.
