double din not cutting on with car's on accessoires

ok i installed a panasonic double din in my 97 eldorado i had to hard wire it to the factory harness. first it didnt have a constant hot so tied it into the ignition wire and it worked fine saves all my info. well now when u turn my key (back) to accessoires the double din wont come on. anyone have any idea as to why ?
