Double Bass Kicks..

Im thinking about redoing my sub stage and am having trouble deciding what to do.

I've never had a ported box before so im wondering how well a sub can handle the fast double bass kicks in a ported box compared to a sealed box. (i know the sub does it well in a sealed).

Also i have the opportunity to get a TC-3000 at a good price, so would it be better to just port my 12" TC9 or upgrade to a 15" TC-3000. (the 3000 would be run Sealed, due to space).

Im looking to gain output over my current 12" TC9 sealed, but still have that fast bass kick found in a lot of Rock/Metal music. plus i like those lows when i feel like bumping some rap...

Any suggestions?

Get a nice, reliable 12".. & go ported.

If i go with a ported 12" it will be the TC9 that i already have.
