Dose flexing Necessarily mean you have a loud setup?

flex is the result of a mass of air pressure moving a common direction. SPL is the Sound Pressure level in the car. At 20hz you can move alot of air but at around 40 hz you can get very loud.

No, car's are made different, now if it was 2 identical cars without any deadening and one flexed more then yes it would more than likely meter higher.
Possibly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But remember flexing is also wasted energy.

Exactly ^^^ , my Pontiac GTP won't flex for sh!t, I have broken bolts, clips and all kinds of retainers but the body panels will not flex. Polo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Incredible flex is impressive to me.
I know at times it takes away from what it will meter, but I like watching my doors and dash flex. Its definitely an attention getter.
Ugh, I am going to have to strongly disagree.

I think it is tacky. It is annoying.

Just like ricers. Their vehicles sound like little toy cars. OBNOXIOUS.

Now, to have that power and speed and yet have minimal sound production, is hot.

Likewise, a sound system that sounds great, yet with minimal rattles and vibrations is quite impressive.
