door speakers not working , only tweeters

okay so when i bought my 2011 silverado none of the speakers made any noise but the tweeters. it seemed as if the previous owner had a after market amp installed but he ripped it out when he sold the truck so i was thinking that they unplugged the door speakers when they did that. i took it to car toys to get it diagnosed and they told me it was fixed which was true but i made a mistake and didnt check to see that all speakers worked . only my front door speakers work and the back ones dont make noise. is there anything i can check to see if its unplugged? maybe the wiring harness that plugs to the head unit? i checked the door speakers and they are plugged in at the door wiring harness
