safty switch would be a cheap looking toggle thats under the dash..

you would flip it off if you plan on working on the motor that way you cant remote start it & chop your hands off.. most would be under the dash panel.. if not its prolly grounded (always On)

Peace troy

oh alright that switch my bad man i know that switch i actually helped put my alarm in so i know where most of my wires are at etc....i actually used to work at a custom shop and that's where i put it in at:).

I had the same problem in my car. Every now and then for no reason my car would just not start, absolutely nothing would happen, the battery was fine, but the starter wasn't even engaging.

Turns out the factory Keyless Entry/Security system (which featured a starter kill) wasn't receiving the exact voltage signal it needed from my aftermarket paging alarm that was put in. Basically the "everything's ok" signal my new alarm was sending to the factory alarm didn't match up, so sometimes the factory alarm would freak out and disable the starter. The only way to fix it in my case is to wait about a half hour.

A quick adjustment to the new alarm and it stopped, or at least hasn't done it again since.
