Dont Pump Gas on May 15th

i paid $2.89 yesterday!
How can i contribute to a democratic candidates election campaign if i spend all my monies on gas?

Its a vicious circle where the GOP maintains control and keeps gas prices artificially high.
to be honest, political parties don't really care about south dakota's measly electoral votes, so you are basically shunned from any political doings in the country. battleground states like michigan, ohio, pennsylvania, wisconsin etc are what drives the political campaign

When clinton was president he was too worried about getting head to raise the gas prices.
Bush loves raising them to make his rich buddies even richer.
God, you guys are funny

Ignorance breeds alot of things, but Faulkton is the worst of it's mutant babies...

Go take an economics class...

And no I'm not a republican, they have many pathetic faults as well...

anybody who buys the cheapest of the cheap gas from off brand companies are wasting their money. they water down the gas and give you cheap gas while doing so. if you spend the extra 10 cents a gallon or whatever to get the plus,(89) or premium either 91 or 93 octane... not only will you be improving your gas milage...sometimes by 50+ miles, you are buying better gas that is 1000% better for your car. With cheap gas your fuel system wears down faster... its been proven.

why don't you educate faulkton then since you seem to be so knowledgeable to where you can call someone's statements ignorant. i do believe GW had his hand in the oil industry in Texas, did he not?

hmmm, my 160k mile car is still going fine on cheap gas. also banging out 30 mpg. pretty decent for a V-6

I'd love to but I'm going to be 10 min late already for my securities analysis class. Gotta learn how to grow money on trees so I can oppress the middle class and enslave the poor!

What car is it? 30 mpg is **** good for a v6, youmust do alot of highway driving.

Me a dumbass: 12 gallons of cheap gas @ 2.80 a gallon= $33.6 and getting around 320 miles or so...and thats driving soft and smooth. Never flooring and shifting before 3 rpms everytime.

Me aftet I read about 100 articles on gas 6 months later: 12 gallons of the highest of the high from exxon/shell etc. I believe it was $3.15= 37.18...I got about 420 miles or so... thats a 100 mile difference. I was freaking amazed

Spend the extra 4 bucks or whatever and do the test just once, and you will never turn back. Unless your car sucks of course and eats gas either way.

that's about where I stand right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Stupid premium.... I think it's time for some good 'ol 93 octane and some octane booster.... 99 octane rating ftw

Gas is "only" $2.79 here. It seems really cheap compared to what you guys are paying, but for a little while, we actually dipped back below the $2.00 mark. Luckily, Louisiana has pretty cheap gas prices =/

i live in northern michigan so the slowest i go is 55. car is a 96 bonneville, 3.8. when i was in the city it dropped to about 23-25. i want to get a 4 cylinder for when i move back into the city. i noticed my dad's focus gets better mpg in the city, but on the highway we are pretty even

your not going to get 99 octane

And to all of you that say the "cheap" gas isn't as good as the "expensive" gas, you're sadly mistaken. I have honestly watched a gas truck go to the "cheapo" mart store, fill their tanks up, then drive right on over to Exxon and fill their tanks up. It's all the same gas, it just depends on the nearest facilities in your area.

It's all the same.
