Basically I am buying a system for my car and I am not sure on what to buy. I sold my stuff like 4 years ago, now I dont have a clue on what to get. I wish that some body could give their input as I have been searching on this site for about 3 weeks now and finally have decided just to ask:crap: . So this is the deal, I got a focus zx3 hatchback and about 1,500 to spend. I like the sound of a sealed box, I most generally listen to rap (i know a ported would be better) I would like to go with 12's either one really nice one or two doesnt matter. But i was just curious as to everyone's input.

I would appreciate if everone would just give me some suggestions because it would help. no i already have a alpine dvd reciever/monitor and infinty kappa mid's and a kenwood overhead monitor and now i want some sunbs and amps. by the way that was a fast responce, this site kicks ***

Man, I can give you a few suggestions, but I'm not really one for that price range (as you can see in my sig ).

I don't know how much space you have to work with, but...

A single Fi BTL 15" or 18" can get insanely loud, but I think the Fi Q would sound better, though not as loud. A pair of Q 12"s sealed would probably sound really good, but if you don't like Fi...

Check out JL, perhaps the W6's.

$1500 for just the sub setup..well there are A LOT of options...even if you pay full retail. Is space an issue? You might be able to go with one 15, one kick a$$ 12, or 2 kick a$$ 12's. I would stay sealed because of the tightness of the notes. In the end its a matter of what you truly prefer. Also...what car is it? Would help as far as recommendations.

how good are these kicker cvx's i mean are they a good spl or a sound quality sub, will they hit hard going into a vented box in a ford focus zx3 hatchback?
