I made a decision on what Ima get. I opted for a DD3512 in a ported box, with a DD 1200W amp and "bass blockers" for the fronts. all this is gonna run me $1300. Im pretty sure this is loud enough for me. BUT, I have the option of upgrading to a DD9512 for $250 more....but the amp will still be a 1200W amp.... worth it? or should I just stick with the 3512?

Stay with the 3512, and the extra 250 you would have spent on the 9512, put towards a nice front stage.

oh yeah...thats right...hehe thanks... I think the Trailblazers are 6 1/2's all around. at one time I was looking at getting polk's for the front and runnin an alpine 75Wx4 amp that I have lying around here...

polks were like...$60 a pair..

Since you already have an amp, you can get a nice comp set for 250 or under. I personally wouldn't worry about the rear speakers, not worth it IMO.

Ive heard that a lot lately....about the rears....I guess I never really heard a rearless set up before...
