Doing 2 8's or a 12. Thinking ima go 2 L7 8s

Going to do ahead and pull out my rear tray so i can fit 2cu or so comfortably. After all the boxes with my JBL i think 2 L7 8's ported at around 40-42Hz is the way to go for me. SO i get a nice hard hit to most all music while still being able to get low. looking to throw 1000wrms or less at it, anyone have a opinion or comment? IM thinking 2 l7 8s would take a SA12, anyone know another option to the 8s that dosnt need a large ported box?

Heres a quick scribble of what my builder wants to do with the em. What u guys think?

no one has a ******** or useful remark? WHat u guys think S8L7 or SA8? Would be running 2 off 1000wrms, whos gunna get louder and sound best doing it

if it was my choice i would go with the sa8's, but have no real experience with either

SA8s will sound 100% better than the L7s, id put 2 sa8s in about 1.5 cubes tuned to 34 off that 1k

l7 8s always intrigued me.. never got around to trying em though... wanted to do a center console build with em..

i would do 2 sa-8's v2's or v1's or 2 skar vvx-8's or 2 tc 8's on that 1k

Well ima pull the tray out and go ported. I liked my JBL better when it was ported then now, i just need to tune a bit higher for my taste

but i just found 3 HE2 10s locally i may be able to pick up for cheap. So i may port 2 for thoughs at 2cu or so

i have a custom made tc9+ 1500rms psi sub 12 inch d2 likes small ported boxes between 1.5 to 2. dave at psi told be 2.0 would be perfect but 1.5 will work great. 8 layer fw extended coil. amazing sub
