Those are some high excursion subs, and the specs look pretty good IMO.I run Audiobahn sub woofers-4-AW1008t 1000rms DVC2ohm 10s, and have ran this brand for several yrs now, and have never had any issues with the performance, and or the sound quality,as long as you build by the specs.I run, and have ran theyre Top notch amps, and have always been pleased with the power, and quality that they have put out.I have used, and still have today the old school HCT2200,HCT 4125,and the DT18001,and all are great amps! The Dub line up, and theyre entry level amps, are, and were never that great, but the HCT/HC/DT/DJ amps are the cream of the crop, and will perform very nicely,as I have experienced them for my self, along with the subwoofers.I like them, and I buy them,.

Question?Whats wrong with theyre amps?Is it because everyone on this forum talks trash about them, and has never used them,or cant afford them, OR?

just an update if anyone cares...

I ended up getting these and have to say VERY impressed..Each sub is round about 30 pounds and has like a 220 oz magnent on it or something...900 rms a peice i havent clamped them but i have them wired at 2 ohms on my audiopipe 3000d and they take it pretty well...good flex and get VERY deep for some tens...hard to believe they are 10s sometimes..

I have them in a ported box the polk audio box (made for the 12's) customized to fit 10's i feel in a bigger box i can get these things hitting a lot harder but defiantly impressed how low the go! makes my explorer shake pretty well..

Sounds like you got a sub worthy of doing its job.Yes, most of thyre subs sound pretty good, and I think they hit very nicely as well.I think that if you can get around the 2.0-2.4cuft per sub, it will be about the max those subs can be at.I like 1.6cuft ported with 2 1/2in port each chamber for everyday usage.Im glad to hear you are happy with them, and have experienced them for your self, rather than listening to the negative responses of those that have never used theyre products, and have only heard, and are missing out.I kike them, and I use them, These have never failed me yet, and I have been banging them since 2004-Audiobahn AW1008t-10In.1000rms DVC2ohm-2000PK, and a pair to me soung pretty close to a pair of 15s.Good buy for you, and happy to hear that you are pleased:)

LOL. Audiobahn is trash.
I dont think so..I differ with you on that.I have bought all kinds of subs over the 20 yrs in this car audio inter vene, and I have yet to find a sub any better than the ones I have that can actuallu handle the power that I have put on them, and even or, and still intact for the last few yrs(04) up to date, and still banging!! FK JL RF your overpriced subs that dont last, and are overpriced, that I have tried that has been recommended, and arent worth a S H I T!.And have wasted my money on.Hell, sonic electronics has a cheap one for 35.00 shipped, 10in.Buy it and try it out yourself, put it to the test. Its only 35.00??Put it up against another sub same specs, I am curious to see the results, as you say they are trash??Put your money where your mouth/opinion is??Its only 35.00???

I never said JL. I never said RF. I wouldn't use those either. I aim for price to performance ratio. The Sundown SA series is about the best there is for the price right now. $140ish for a 12, rated @ 600wrms. I put 1500wrms to mine daily. I recently bought 4 SA10s and plan on doing 1000wrms to each of them. I'd like to see your precious Audiobahn even think about taking close to 3x it's rms daily.

I've been in the game a while as well. Not 20 years.. but I've owned my fair share of woofers. Tested tons. Audiobahn is cheap Chinese crap. Parts are cheap. They're just cheaply assembled. No real technology to speak of. Just cookie cutter woofers.

Audiobahns are for noobs that have never had anything before. To those types of owners, anything will sound good because its usually their first system. As soon as they gain more experience, the quickly upgrade.

Audiobahn is now owned by Pyle. That says it all right there. No quality control or product support. No high tech engineering or technology.

Well mine have served just fine, and Im sure that my AW1008t have been, and will do the daily that you state, and have for quite some time now.I have 4 of those, and never had any issues, even running in a 1ohm load on a pair with a 255amp alt, 2 redtops, and a red top at the amps, 0ga,at 1ohms with a HCT 4125,bridged, and at the lowest, 14.2v, with each sub ported in 2.4cuft @34htz, sounded pretty **** good, going for 4 this time with old school HFVIII, VIII series, and Autotek BTS series amps, with a Kinetik batt in place of the redtop in back.So Ya, my subs will bang at 2k all day, and I can get 4 of them there all day long.Havent tried thse subs yet, dont really have a need atm.Even the MTX9500s didnt hold up,Luckly I found 2more of these, brand new for $140 eachshipped. My second option was going to be the HCCADVC2ohm subs.Happy with mine, and have been for some time now, and they have stood up to every adventure Ive put/tested them at/on:) I think this guy got his moneys worth, and some from his experience, and is happy with what he has chosen for his money spent, well spent sounds like to me, and letting everyone here know that they do sound good, and seem to be worth the money that he paid for them.I am happy to hear that he is pleased with his choice, and letting others know of his experience/not hear say...Good for you brother!!! Happy banging!!Thanks for letting us know:cool:

Well, Im not a NOOB??What the hell that means, And Ive had several subs, and this is not my first system. My subs are the first generation, along with the HCT amps, and Im sure are not made from PYLE, Mine are USA Made straight from Cali.I have had numerous systems, and several amps/speakers, and have always came back to these subsView attachment 26529486

9500s and HCCAs would **** all over anything Audiobahn could ever dream of making.
AHH No they didnt..They actual didnt hold up to the test, and I got my money back, and I have the AW1008t and held up, and they still bang!!MTX SUX!!!Wasted my money!
